Q: Do I need a shaving brush?

A: For best results a shaving brush is highly recommended for use with our shaving soaps.

Q: What kind of razor works with shaving soap?

A: Our shaving soaps work with any kind of razor. The key to a more comfortable shave is the cushion and glide provided by a quality shaving soap.

Q: Do I need a shaving bowl or mug?

A: That is strictly optional. Building a lather in a bowl, mug or directly on the face (or anywhere else) is a matter of personal preference.

Q: Is shaving soap safe to use in the pubic region?

A: Yes. If it feels good on your face, you can use it anywhere else on your body.

Q: How do I lather shaving soap?

 Q: How long will a container of shaving soap last?

A: Soap consumption varies from person to person. Our admittedly un-scientific heavy load testing indicates that approximately one half of an ounce is consumed every week when used daily. That equates to a minimum of 70 shaves or 10 weeks from a 5 ounce container of shaving soap. 

 Q: When will Santa's Workshop be available?

A: Santa's Workshop products are seasonal. They are available for pre-order from mid-October until November 1st.

They are available for sale from November 1st until inventory is exhausted or December 1st, whichever comes first. Hint: It sells out every year, do not wait until the last minute.
