Couldn't wait to try Fair Isle Harbor bundle. It smells better than the description and that sweet tobacco, leather & spice aroma is legit. It doesn't over power but it stays with you perfectly. It reminds me of my dad. I used it on my head and face. Absolutely zero skin irritation. C&F makes me look forward to shaving.

Incredible scent , great cushion, great value , and great shave . I have other soaps and creams from other companies which are pretty good , but when out , I would probably try something different . Fair Isle soap and after shave balm will definitely be purchased again and again when running low . Cooper and French has incredible sevice .

If you are looking for a truly excellent shave - protection, glide, and slickness - you found it.
Why not 5 stars? The scent. While this is a great scent, there isn't enough of it! At best it is mild on the puck and during the first half of the shave, then it disappears too soon. The balm is great as a balm, but, again, dissipates far to quickly to be enjoyed. On the other hand, maybe that's what you want - something that won't interfere with your cologne.

The scent off the puck is warm, flowery tobacco, mixed with caramel and honey to sweeten it up a bit. I really enjoy the scent of this soap, it is warm and could easily be used on a day where it is fresh outside. The performance of the soap is up there with the top brands. The soap is easy to lather, slick, very good residual slickness, and very nice post shave properties. The balm is just the icing on the cake; it absorbs into the skin with no trouble, it hydrates and keeps you smelling good for hours. I shaved 12 hours ago and I can still smell the balm! The price on these sets, to include free shipping, are extremely hard to ignore. The performance of soap and balm will truly make your day.
