Fair Isle Harbor Shaving Soap
Sweet and warm, this shave soap offers you a comfortable place to reside as you shave. It is named for the remote island of Fair Isle in the Shetland Islands. It’s a perfect name for the soap as it is so warm and inviting – like the inhabitants of that far-flung Fair Isle.
The scent is beguiling. It offers gorgeous sweetness with notes of honey, tangerine, and caramel, rounded out with the elegant inclusion of tobacco blossom, sweet and bright with some spicy hints, offering all the warmth of the tobacco profile, without becoming pungently floral.
The vibrant scent is sweet and enveloping, warm, and smooth, with just a hint of fresh, sweet citrus from the tangerine that makes it bright enough to keep the shave experience multi-dimensional.
While the description of this scent may seem to propose that it is syrupy sweet, the surprising warmth brings out the nuance of the elements without having to settle. With its beautiful bouquet on the nose and the thick, comfortable lather, this shave soap offers a nearly spiritual experience.

How to Apply - In 4 Easy Steps
- Start by wetting your synthetic shave brush with warm water. For badger, boar, or horsehair, make sure you completely soak your brush with warm water for several minutes. Don’t forget to remove any excess water. No one wants to deal with a dripping brush!
- Next, swirl your brush in the soap container for a minimum of 20 seconds. That’ll give you a good amount of soap on your brush. You want to achieve a paste-like consistency.
- Wet the area on your skin you plan on shaving.
- Finally, transfer the soap to your skin by using a gentle, scrubbing motion. Continue until your skin is completely covered in a full lather. Adding small amounts of water to your brush can help increase the coverage.
